so, we are on our third consecutive day of NO SCHOOL due to the blizzard. technically, we have been in the house since friday after school. that is the first part of the story...
the second part of the story is that we have a little project going on in the family room. due to said project, most of the furniture is stuffed into the living room and there is a tiny bit of dust well, everywhere. because of the storm, our little project is at a stand still.
as you may or may not know, i am a girl who likes order. the upside-down ness of our living space makes me feel sort of nervous and antsy. and although we are enjoying the snow (and the school cancellations), i think we could all use a little time away from the homestead.
in the meantime, we are planning on curling up on our "special sofa" (see pics below) and watching american idol tonight. we are hoping tomorrow brings a field trip to the grocery store - or we may have to eat milo, which we would prefer not to do.

breakfast choices are getting slim. noah picked leftover popcorn + banana + scrambled eggs. i picked canned tomatoes and wine.
