the weekend began with a trip to the ER with my gram. happily, she is just fine. we celebrated her homecoming w/ a good, old-fashioned poker game (just like old times). a poker game complete with family and friends + lots of food + laughing. here's the proof:

gram and dogs pose for me in the construction zone (aka: my family room). for some reason, the dogs LOVE gram. she won't come right out and say it, but i think she kinda loved them right back. notice her shoes. her shoes did not accompany her to the hospital. and, there is still 20 " of pittsburgh snow on the ground. so, she went home in a pair of ben's tennis shoes. she would be the hit of middle school, i tell you.
